From September 16–18, 2026, ADAC Luftrettung, on behalf of the European HEMS and Air Ambulance Committee (EHAC), will host the AirMed World Congress. Participants from around the world will come together to share their knowledge and best practices for aeromedical operations and medical care in challenging environments. Together with our colleagues from corpuls, we are looking forward to presenting our ultralight and mobile patient monitoring solution to participants on site.
Breaking Boundaries: Advancing Air Medical Services
AirMed 2026 is the leading congress for aeromedical medicine, bringing professionals together to learn, discuss, and network. Leading experts from the fields of medicine, aviation operations, technology, and regulatory authorities will come together for topic-specific sessions, outstanding keynote presentations, and practical tools. The program offers three days filled with innovation, knowledge exchange, and hands-on experience. With a combination of expert presentations, training sessions, and international networking, AirMed 2026 is more than just a medical congress – it is a platform designed to connect disciplines, share knowledge, and help shape the future of air rescue worldwide.
Ultralight and Mobile Patient Monitoring
Dr. Johannes Kreuzer will be on site at the AirMed World Congress together with our colleagues from corpuls to present our ultralight and mobile patient monitoring solution, consisting of the corpuls auryx in-ear sensor and the corpuls auryx App. Measuring just 5.5 cm and weighing 8.6 grams, the sensor, in combination with the smartphone app, enables the measurement of pulse rate, body temperature, and oxygen saturation, as well as additional parameters such as the PPG waveform, perfusion, and quality index. Thanks to the newly approved alarm system, critical patients can now also be monitored using the solution. The technology has already proven its value in pilot projects, studies, and real-world applications in aeromedical and HEMS settings. We look forward to exchanging ideas with experts in these fields!
