From 14th to 16th November, the World Extreme Medicine Conference 2026 will take place at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh, Scotland. One of the world’s largest extreme medicine conferences, it brings together leading speakers and organisations from across the broad speciality of extreme medicine. Together with corpuls, cosinuss° will take part again to present the developments of our ultralight and mobile patient monitoring system.

Diverse programme covering extreme and remote medicine

The World Extreme Medicine Conference 2026 offers a diverse programme of expert-led talks, hands-on workshops, and practical sessions covering rescue and expedition medicine, trauma and pre-hospital care, remote and offshore medicine, endurance medicine, humanitarian work, psychological resilience, and more. Across three days, participants can tailor their experience to their interests while gaining practical knowledge and skills for challenging medical environments.

Ultralight and mobile patient monitoring for extreme environments

At the accompanying exhibition we will present the improvements in our mobile patient monitoring system to the participants. The solution is based on the corpuls auryx in-ear sensor, which weighs 8.6 g, and the corpuls auryx App which now features an alarm system as well. This setup can be used to reliably monitor three important vital parameters – SpO2, body temperature, and pulse rate – as well as the PPG curve, perfusion and quality indices at any time. Our monitoring technology has already proven its practicality many times over in the fields of air and mountain rescue, prolonged field care, special forces, offshore operations, and various remote monitoring projects. We look forward to presenting the wide applicability of our technology, especially in extreme and remote medicine.
