The German Society for Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine (DGAI) invites you to its 2025 Annual Congress, which will take place in Kassel from September 17 to 19. Under the motto “Courage to innovate – shaping the future,” the congress aims to promote professional exchange, career development, and the presentation of innovative approaches in the fields of anesthesiology, intensive care medicine, emergency and pain medicine, and palliative medicine. We are happy that our patient monitoring solutions will be presented on site by corpuls.
Daring Innovation – Shaping the Future
Anesthesiology is a key discipline for the functioning of the healthcare system. Its five core areas—anesthesia, intensive care medicine, emergency medicine, pain medicine, and palliative medicine—care for over ten million patients in Germany every year. Against the backdrop of profound structural changes – from hospital reforms and the expansion of outpatient care services to demographic change and rapid digitalisation – the congress places a special focus on interdisciplinary dialogue and the development of innovative, forward-looking solutions. The program includes over 200 events, including pro and con debates, high-caliber specialist lectures, practical training sessions, ePoster presentations, interactive formats, and live demonstrations. Particularly exciting this year is the “Innovation Village,” where participants will have the opportunity to get to know start-ups, scale-ups, and established companies from the healthcare sector. Not only will they present their concepts, products, and digital solutions for tomorrow’s patient care, but visitors will also have the opportunity to experience them first-hand and try out groundbreaking technologies.
Innovative patient monitoring
As part of the industry exhibition, Maurice Batton, Area Sales Manager at corpuls, will present our mobile patient monitoring system to participants (booth number 128). The cosinuss° Health software solution, combined with the 8.6g lightweight c-med° alpha in-ear sensor, enables precise real-time monitoring of pulse rate, body temperature, and oxygen saturation—even for multiple patients simultaneously. The monitoring technology for measuring vital parameters has already been tested several times in various studies and pilot projects in emergency and intensive care medicine as well as in remote patient monitoring (see references). We look forward to discussing the requirements of participants in their respective fields and exploring together how a combined solution from corpuls and cosinuss° can enable them to provide even better care.
