On June 25, 2025, the “Practical Day Tactical Operational Medicine” will take place at the Dietrich-Keuning-Haus in Dortmund. The cooperation between S+K Verlag and the Capsarius Academy, which began in 2024, is continuing in a positive way. We are happy to be able to attend this practice-oriented event to present our ultralight and mobile patient monitoring technology to the participants.
Coping with critical situations
The aim of the practical day is to provide inter-agency training to strengthen operational skills in critical situations. The event is aimed at emergency personnel from BOS, the German Armed Forces, police, fire and rescue services. It starts with a training demonstration on the interface between police and security forces in the event of an amok situation – with a focus on the handover at the casualty drop-off point. The training content is divided into several stations, including CCP/triage and care under fire. The practical day will be accompanied by an industry exhibition focusing on pre-hospital and tactical emergency medicine.
Ultralight and mobile patient monitoring
As part of the industry exhibition, we will present our system for mobile patient monitoring to the participants of the Practice Day. The ultralight monitoring solution, based on the 6.5g in-ear sensor c-med° alpha and the cosinuss° Health app, is already being used successfully by various special units in Europe as well as in air, mountain and offshore rescue (see references).
We are looking forward to presenting our innovative patient monitoring technology to the participants and discussing how our solution can support the work in tactical emergency medicine.
