From October 23 to 25, 2025, the annual congress of the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) will take place at the Rotterdam Ahoy Convention Center. The event promises exciting insights into current developments in resuscitation science and practice. We are happy to be represented by corpuls showcasing their portfolio including the in-ear patient monitoring solution.

Focus on resuscitation

Sudden emergencies such as cardiac or respiratory arrest can occur at any time – quick, competent action by professionals and trained laypeople is crucial. The ERC Congress is aimed at professionals from the fields of medicine, nursing, education, and research. The focus is on the new 2025 resuscitation guidelines and their evidence-based implementation. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the latest scientific findings and discuss their practical implementation. In addition to the specialist presentations, the program offers interactive workshops and practice-oriented training sessions that promote exchange and provide space for networking and in-depth discussions.

Innovative patient monitoring

As part of the industry exhibition, together with our colleagues from corpuls, we will be presenting our system for mobile vital parameter monitoring inside the ear canal. The 8.6 g lightweight in-ear sensor, c-med° alpha, in combination with the cosinuss° Health software solution, enables precise real-time monitoring of pulse rate, body temperature, and oxygen saturation and, in addition to these vital parameters, also continuously displays the recorded pulse wave. This ultralight and compact monitoring technology is already in use in mountain, air, and special rescue operations and has also been used in various studies in emergency and intensive care medicine as well as in the field of resuscitation (results are in the process of being published). We look forward to discussing with the participants the possibilities of how the in-ear monitoring solution could support resuscitation in the future.

More about ERC

The European Resuscitation Council (ERC) is one of the leading organizations in the field of resuscitation science. Since its foundation in 1989, the ERC has been committed to improving survival rates after sudden cardiac arrest. The organization develops evidence-based guidelines, offers comprehensive training and continuing education, and promotes research in resuscitation and emergency care.
