The German Interdisciplinary Emergency Medicine Congress (DINK) will take place in Koblenz on March 7 and 8 under the motto “Strong together”. The congress emphasizes the importance of multi-professionalism, interdisciplinarity and team spirit in emergency medicine and rescue services – crucial qualities for overcoming future challenges, such as upcoming hospital and emergency reforms. We are very much looking forward to presenting our technological solutions for mobile and continuous patient monitoring as an exhibitor.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Challenges posed by hospital and emergency reforms<\/h2><\/div>

The upcoming hospital and emergency reforms in Germany will have a direct and indirect impact on emergency and rescue medicine. One of the fundamental goals of the DINK is to rethink and redesign emergency and rescue medicine across sectors in order to make it patient-oriented and needs-based. At DINK 2024, participants will have the opportunity to discuss the concepts required for implementation with other professional groups. The congress offers various topic formats, including pro-con debates, expert interviews and demonstrations in the outdoor area. In addition, the agenda includes lectures, symposia and exchanges on specific case studies, providing visitors with a comprehensive insight into current developments and challenges in emergency and rescue medicine.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Ultralight and mobile patient monitoring<\/h2><\/div>

We are happy to present our system for mobile patient monitoring – based on the 6.5g in-ear sensor, c-med\u00b0 alpha<\/a>, and cosinuss\u00b0 Health<\/a> – to the participants of the DINK congress as part of the industry exhibition. The monitoring technology has already been tested several times in various studies and pilot projects in emergency and intensive care medicine (see references<\/a>). We look forward to exchanging ideas with emergency physicians and other professionals in emergency and rescue medicine!<\/p>\n<\/div>

The DINK congress takes place as a hybrid event in the Rhein-Mosel-Halle in Koblenz as well as digitally on the AINSPlive platform and is primarily aimed at emergency physicians in all areas. The German Prize for Emergency Medicine will also be awarded as part of the congress program.<\/p>\n<\/div>
