The crucial role of wearables in telemedicine<\/h2><\/div>

Especially since last year, there have been many technological advances in the field of medical wearables and in the expansion of telemedical solutions. Video consultations as well as telemonitoring are increasingly finding their way into everyday medical practice. For this reason, Wear It Live’s next online session will be themed “Hello doctor! Are you Online?”. Our CEO Johannes Kreuzer, together with other experts from the healthcare and medtech industry, will discuss the future of telemedicine and shed light on the extent to which the new technologies will prevail in the long term and how they can be implemented.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The schedule<\/h2><\/div>

The session will start with a 40-minute panel discussion in which, after an introduction to remote patient monitoring<\/a> (telemedicine), the question will first be clarified as to how doctors work with remote monitoring solutions and what experience they have gained with medical wearables to date. In addition, the integration of medical wearables into existing telemedicine workflows and infrastructures will be addressed. The possible limitations of the use and reliability of wearables for patients and physicians will also be discussed. In addition, entrepreneurial issues will also be highlighted: How can new companies enter the market and what are the most promising trends for the medical environment?<\/p>\n

After subsequent start-up pitches (10 minutes), there will be plenty of time for networking. Here, the audience will have the opportunity to visit the virtual company booths and connect with industry experts.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
